In cooperation with the Regional Innovation Development Agency KIRA from Slovakia, we have launched the info points project, which was created as a response to the need of the territory in the field of support for the third sector (associations, civic associations, non-profit organizations, etc.) with the administrative obstacles they face in their activities and the need for networking among themselves.
Infopoints will be contact points in the territory, connecting associations and other organisations with the public administration and developing local and international cooperation.
The aim is to create a natural space for sharing, communication, and support within the activities of associations and other organizations, grant mentoring, participation in the evaluation of the South Moravian region grant calls, obtaining feedback from the territory, continuous mapping and identification of the needs of participants, and cooperation with voluntary organizations.
New information centers - infoPOINTS - will be established in the border area. They will be set up in selected civic associations cooperating with the South Moravian Region. The implementers of infopoints will be the Local Action Groups in the South Moravian Region, which have competencies and experience in the defined areas of support and continue to train them.
The InfoPoints will function as consultancy centers to support civil organizations that want to implement their projects. We will increase the efficiency of public administration in border regions by promoting cooperation between NGOs and authorities. In particular, we will focus on removing legal and administrative barriers that hinder the smooth functioning and cooperation of NGOs.
The project also includes the organization of international festivals (Federal Days) and the evaluation of subsidy calls aimed at supporting the 3rd sector in the Trnava Self-Governing Region.
