SECOND SOCIAL AND HEALTH INNOVATION EXPERT PLATFORM MEETING

Social and health care in the South Moravian Region is one of our priorities. That is why we held the second meeting of the expert platform in the social and health area. This is an advisory group consisting of experts from JINAG, South Moravian Region, Masaryk University, University of Technology, VIM - Educational Institute for Moravia, Silesian Diakonia, Záchranka App, Centre of Digital Medicine Masaryk Institute of Oncology Brno, Social Services Šebetov, Association of Community Services in Mental Health Care and other stakeholders.

Our goal is to jointly inform the residents of the South Moravian Region about services in the social and health sector. To increase the availability of telemedicine, assistive technologies and the efficiency of the health care provided through the electronic exchange of information. A widely discussed topic that raises great hopes (and not less concern) is the use of artificial intelligence.

To meet these objectives, we have introduced new project applications:

  • QHEALTH (TA ČR - Sigma 5DC) - Increasing access to quality healthcare using non-invasive methods based on natural analytical data acquisition.
  • EH_4_DigiPublicHealth (Horizon Europe) - Creating a centre of excellence focused on digital innovation and intelligence in public health.
  • TELEMEDICINE IN SOCIAL SERVICES (Ministry for Regional Development, NPO) - Implementation of a telemedicine solution with advanced 5G network infrastructure in the residential social service of the Social Services Šebetov, a contributory organisation.
  • CARELINK (Interreg Danube Programme) - Addressing the shortage of qualified health professionals, mitigating the risks of burnout, highlighting the importance of mental health, implementing innovative pilot projects and promoting sustainable practices.

We informed the participants about the development of the areas we are already actively involved in:

  • SOCIAL HEALTH PORTAL - A health guide for everyone in the region that will bring new perspectives on care, prevention and studies for health and wellbeing.
  • ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY (AT) IN HOME CARE - Popularizing AT among professionals and the public. Education of future professionals in social/health care. Creation of supportive conditions for the use and implementation of AT.
  • NETWORK OF DIGITAL ASSISTANTS - Developing a network of digital assistants to increase support for older people in the correct and safe use of their own smart devices.

Helping seniors and people with disabilities live safely in their home environment. IT IS POSSIBLE.
