New Year's meeting with JINAG partners: Together on the road to a region where life is good
On Thursday, January 15, 2026, we held a partner meeting. We invited partners from the South Moravian Region, municipalities, institutions, and the professional public to pause, look back, and reaffirm why it makes sense to work together toward a region where life is good.
The reason for organizing the meeting was clear. At JINAG, we have long been working on topics that overlap in practice: climate change and territorial adaptation, the functioning of public administration, community engagement, innovation in the social and health sectors, and fieldwork with municipalities. We wanted to create a space where these topics would not stand side by side, but would talk to each other.
The metaphor of a journey ran through the entire meeting. Instead of traditional presentations and a single stage, we presented the individual areas in which JINAG currently operates as competitive thematic stations. Participants got to know the projects in an informal atmosphere and asked questions directly to people from individual JINAG teams, as well as representatives of the region and municipalities who have real experience with their implementation or who work with these topics in their daily practice.
This format allowed us to show our work in context – from climate and strategic planning, through participation and work with young people, to innovations in the social and health sectors and support for municipalities in the field.
This way of sharing reflects the reality of the changes we are dealing with in the region. They are not linear; they do not have a single pace or universal instructions. They require direction, but also openness to experimentation, learning, and the ongoing search for solutions. That is why we do not see ourselves as those who provide ready-made answers, but as a partner who helps connect actors, experiences, and ideas and, together with others, seeks a functional way forward.
The meeting reaffirmed that the region's greatest strength lies in the people who live and work there, and that long-term change cannot be achieved alone. Partnership, trust, and shared direction give meaning to each step.
We would like to thank everyone who has joined us on this journey. We are continuing onward—on the path to a region where life is good. Cool region = cool life.
