Can the seniors in your families use digital technology? For many of them, the world of the internet, apps or online banking can be a challenge. Yet seniors' digital literacy is crucial because it allows them to keep up with the world, communicate with loved ones, stay informed or get things done from the comfort of their own home. Let's help them get oriented, teach them the basics and show them that technology is not the enemy, but a tool that can make life easier.
Within the framework of the project "Network of Digital Assistants", we organize educational seminars for seniors on the use of modern technologies and internet safety together with the association Wise Network.
The seminar "HOW TO PROTECT YOUR DATA ON THE INTERNET AND WHAT TO WATCH OUT FOR" is organised by the Wise Network together with students from the Secondary School of Informatics, Postal Administration and Finance in Brno.
We will focus on password correctness, two-factor authentication, device unlocking options, malicious files - safe downloading, advantages/disadvantages of public Wi-Fi and QR codes.
WHERE: Secondary School of Informatics, Postal Administration and Finance Brno, Čichnova 982/23, Brno - Komín

The main goal of the project is to increase the digital skills of seniors in the South Moravian Region through a network of digital assistants. The digital assistants are volunteers mainly from among students of secondary and higher vocational schools, grammar schools, colleges and universities. The assistants help seniors to use modern technologies correctly and safely.
