How can 5G infrastructure, telemedicine, and assistive technologies realistically transform care in residential social services? Staff shortages, growing demands for care, and an aging population. Social services today face a reality that cannot be ignored. The future of smart care is exemplified by a project at Šebetov Social Services, which uses a 5G network, telemedicine, and assistive technologies in daily care. Thanks to this, they can detect health risks in a timely manner, increase clients' safety and comfort, and, at the same time, make the work of medical and caregiving staff easier.

The conference is organized by the Šebetov Social Service, in cooperation with the JINAG agency. The conference partners are the South Moravian Region, T-Mobile, and MagicWare.
The conference is being held as part of the outcomes of the project “Utilization of the 5G Network for Effective Monitoring in the Care of Residents in Residential Social Services” (reg. no. CZ.31.6.0/0.0/0.0/23_087/0008927), which is funded by the European Union through the National Recovery Plan.
