GREENGOV PROJECT: A GUIDE TO GREEN FINANCE
The climate forecast in the South Moravian Region is not favourable. So now is the time for action! The South Moravian Region Climate Plan, orchestrated by JINAG, is an important tool. Its aim is to propose concrete steps for adaptation and mitigation of regional changes.
But it won't work without financial resources. In addition to traditional subsidies, we are following the European trend in other financial instruments. We are looking for innovative ways of financing and ways to integrate the EU taxonomy into our public policies.
On 16-17th April we attended the kick-off meeting for the GreenGov project, at the Ministry for Federal and European Affairs and Regional Development of Lower Saxony.
GreenGov is a project of the Interreg Europe programme that promotes interregional knowledge exchange between partners to support the implementation of the EU taxonomy and to reorient the financial programmes of European regions towards sustainability. The aim is to share experiences and best practices in the field of green finance.
