Strong links with those who know their communities best - Local Action Groups (LAGs) - are key to long-term sustainable development. By working closely with LAGs, we can better understand the needs of individual regions, tailor our projects to local conditions, and support local initiatives more effectively.
As part of the cooperation, we presented our activities at the seminar organized by LAGs "Learning to work in the South Moravian Region", which took place on 23-24 October at the castle in Křtiny. We presented our projects to representatives of local action groups, partners of the National Rural Network, and entities involved in the implementation of Community-Led Local Development (CLLD):
Digital assistant network
The project aims to increase the digital skills of seniors with the help of digital assistants, or volunteers who understand technology and want to help others. We are implementing this project together with the Wise Network.
COOL BARÁK
An energy team that provides comprehensive support to cities and municipalities in the South Moravian Region in implementing energy savings and reducing greenhouse gas emissions through the renovation of public buildings and, in the future, through the implementation of energy management. The project is co-financed by the European Union through the LIFE project.
Info points
A network of contact centers through which civic associations and non-profit organizations can get information on how to set up their organization, write a project, or apply for a grant. The centers will also offer assistance in linking organizations and associations with public administrations and foreign partners. This will give organizations easier access to the information and resources they need for their activities. The project is co-financed by the European Union through the Interreg SK-CZ program
Association Day
We support all those involved in activities contributing to the development of our region, which is why we organized our first Association Day in February. The involvement of local associations and groups enables effective solutions to local problems and contributes to strengthening the dialogue between citizens and local authorities. We are preparing the next Community Day for spring 2025.
We would like to thank the Regional Association of NN LAGs for inviting us and connecting us with important players in the South Moravian Region who support the region's development.
