"The scarcest resource in cities today is not money, but coordination" - Alejandro Aravena

At our fourth Particaffé training and education programme, we focused on how to plan participatory actions so that they don't end up in a drawer, and how the consensus of everyone involved is essential.

Milan Brlík from the Institute of Planning and Development of the City of Prague (IPR) showed us how to successfully plan and implement participation to have a real impact. With the help of a game we tried how to reach an agreement between the stakeholders. The participants themselves became the key actors trying to find a common solution to the urban gap.

Thank you to the representatives of the municipalities and towns of Šlapanice, Pozořice, Břeclav, Pohořelice, Lanžhot and Brno for their participation.
